      About the Unit

      Yara Suomi Oy, a subsidiary of Yara International, produces fertilizers, industrial chemicals and environmental protection products. In Finland there are three Yara's production sites, located in Uusikaupunki, Kokkola and Siilinjärvi. In Siilinjärvi Yara has also Western Europe's only phosphate mine, which is Finland's largest open pit mine.       Regional Operational Team is part of the Nordic Production System Unit. The Nordic Production System is responsible for the production sites in Finland, Glomfjord and Rostock. The Regional Operational Team is organized under the Nordic Production System and perform planning for the Finnish production system including all supply chain flows inbound, outbound and transfers.

      We are looking for a Supply Chain Planner in Regional Operational Team (ROT). ROT plays a crucial role to ensure optimal production and supply to our fertilizer plants in Finland. Furthermore, ROT ensures the day to day planning and securing the long term perspective. The person selected for this role will be responsible for one of the planning functions within ROT, and will collaborate closely towards the factories in Finland and Yara HQ in Oslo.

      In this position you will get the opportunity to work with many aspects of a modern supply chain.

      Responsibilities

      • Operational planning for one of the main planning responsibilities
      • Coordination and follow up to provide first-level support in the supply chain
      • Continuous improvement of the supply chain process
      • Acting as a contact person towards internal and external stakeholders
      • Providing and developing necessary reporting
      • Back-up for another team member

      Profile

      • Master's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
      • Previous work experience from production, supply chain, logistics or planning
      • Fluent in written and spoken English, sufficient in Finnish
      • Good interpersonal skills with excellent cooperation skills both locally and globally
      • High analytical and numeric skills with ability to translate planning into practice
      • Team oriented and proactive mindset
      • Ability to work under pressure and tolerate uncertainty
      • Enthusiastic in working in an operational environment with strict requirements for quality and deadlines
      • Knowledge of SAP and planning tools is seen as an advantage

      Additional Information

      The person selected for the role will support maritime transport coordination team for the first five months of the employment due to personnel study leave.

      In this role you will have a wide responsibility and a unique opportunity to develop professionally. This position is one of the best ways to prepare for further advancement in Yara.

      Location for this position will be Uusikaupunki.
