- The Supply Chain Planning Analyst supports automated equipment by tracking and resolving equipment issues, managing the spare parts inventory and re-ordering processes, acting as site lead point of contact to the automation vendors and contractors, tracking equipment statistics and reporting to operations leadership, and managing the preventative maintenance tasks.
- This role is located in Spokane, WA and does offer domestic relocation
- This role requires up to 10% domestic travel
- This role is 100% on-site with no opportunity for hybrid or remote schedules.
- Working with master planners on outsourcing needs; establishing blanket purchase orders and vendor managed inventory (VMI).
- Identifies and leads initiatives to improve the supply-chain process.
- Supporting customers and leading customer proposal efforts with pricing information and supplier selection.
- Accountable for maintaining supply chain application systems.
- Supporting automation software and testing/troubleshooting software
- Following operation safety processes
- Preventative maintenance on robots and other automated equipment
- Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Knowledge of physical preventative maintenance (i.e. hands on knowledge with equipment and tools), technical troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical issues on hardware, software, application or operation.
- Business Process Improvement: Knowledge of business process improvement best practices and ability to use methods for identifying, evaluating, introducing and implementing more efficient approaches to performing business related activities.
- Project Task Ownership: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
- Effective verbal and written communication across multiple departments in the facility, project team, and vendors/contractors.
- EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) knowledge
- PC (Personal Computer), software, industrial equipment controls knowledge
- Knowledge of warehousing or warehouse processes
- Automated system technical knowledge, specifically mechanical or electrical experience
- In this role, you will have the opportunity to take part in the project team that is developing and installing automation solutions. The Spokane DC is continuously growing their automated equipment portfolio. This role will support both the execution of these projects as well as establishing processes to maintain the equipment, and deliver value to the Spokane operation!

Summary Pay Range:
$87,480.00 - $131,280.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
