- Collaborate and coordinate with internal business partners, Global Supply Chain, HES, A/P, and Law to build consensus, align on priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Maintain knowledge of supply chain management including market insight, business partnering, negotiation, and ongoing supplier management and governance.
- Proven record in executing commercial contracts in a timely and accurate structure.
- Ability to successfully execute a significant volume of contractual and commercial transactions, illustrating strong capability to multi task and deliver results.
- Capability to execute both written and verbal communication to ensure alignment with requestors on expectations and progress to results.
- Preparation and execution of commercial documents, which include contracts, purchase orders, pricing agreements, and amendments in support of operations.
- Ability to translate contractor rate sheets, proposals, and scopes of work into solid commercial agreements and/or purchase orders.
- Develop value proposition for initiatives, supported by market data, relevant business, and technical factors.
- Facilitate meetings, prepare reports , and presentations to communicate status.
- Provide analytical support for various GSC projects as needed and utilize technology to improve processes
- Serve as a mentor to GSC’s college interns
- Bachelor's Degree
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- SAP experience
- Degree in Supply Chain, Marketing, Business or similar discipline
Job Overview:
The candidate must be a dynamic detailed oriented, self-starter who works collaboratively, and is driven to deliver accurate and rapid results. The chosen individual will work in the contracting center provid ing contracting and commercial drafting support to various functions within Supply Chain. This role requires the individual to balance high work volumes with varying scopes. Flexibility is also essential as work flow will vary between the various groups.
