      Job Summary:

      As a Senior Consultant, your expertise in evaluating supply chain topology will play a critical role in improving customer experience, service levels, and cost optimisation. You will collaborate closely with data and network modelling specialists to create robust models that influence the design and operation of distribution networks.

      Working as part of a project team, your focus will be on generating actionable insights, facilitating stakeholder discussions, and navigating challenges to deliver on-time, high-impact projects. Through clear, visual and persuasive communication, you will support clients in making strategic decisions around supply chain structure and operations.

      Your aim will be to harness specialist knowledge in supply chain, transportation and inventory modelling to design and deliver innovative strategies that enhance the flow of goods from supplier to customer. The models built and insight delivered contributes to real-world improvements in fulfilment operations.

      Job Responsibilities:

      • Analyse and manage data from multiple stakeholders using tools like MS Excel, Tableau, Power BI, and FORTNA’s proprietary systems
      • Drive continuous optimisation of end-to-end supply chain networks.
      • Create strategic frameworks for network, facility, product flow, inventory, and transportation optimisation.
      • Apply mathematical techniques to develop advanced concepts for supply chain efficiency.
      • Build business cases and transition plans for proposed network changes.
      • Prepare visual reports for stakeholders, ensuring clarity, accuracy and insight.
      • Collaborate across teams to uncover data-driven insights and recommend best-fit solutions.
      • Apply structured problem-solving techniques in workshops and team sessions.
      • Develop financial forecasts and operational budgets aligned with proposed strategies.
      • Support knowledge management through research and white paper contributions.
      • Bring forward logical reasoning and commercial awareness to support decision-making.

      Qualifications Needed:

      • Bachelor's degree in engineering, logistics or operations.
      • Minimum 4 years’ experience in one or more areas: retail, e-commerce, analytics, transportation, inventory or supply chain.
      • Proven understanding of the intersection between analytics and business strategy.
      • Experience in network modelling and collaboration with data analytics teams.
      • Comfortable with ambiguity and cross-functional communication.
      • Business acumen with experience in working with P&L data.
      • High levels of curiosity and motivation for continuous learning.
      • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

      Desired Qualifications:

      • Proficiency in Python or statistical packages.
      • Hands-on experience with supply chain modelling tools such as SupplyChainGuru, Optilogic or AnyLogistix.
