Reporting to the Lead, Supply Management – Systems & Process, this role offers a unique opportunity to showcase your ability to drive efficiency, improve systems, and refine processes across our operations. You’ll play a central role in a dynamic team, advancing the capabilities and enhancing the effectiveness within the field of supply management. Key Accountabilities: - Provide technical leadership and champion the development of process maps, procedures, training materials, and project management documents to ensure consistency and alignment with best practices - Serve as a subject matter expert on key processes that focus on effective inventory management, procurement, materials management and transportation - Develop business and functional requirements for system enhancements to existing applications and/or system integrations where needed - Work cross-functionally with stakeholders to manage prioritization of the systems and innovation roadmap; advance our understanding of new systems and technology solutions by leading technology discovery and assessment efforts - Own and deliver change management plans for initiatives and systems or existing system enhancements - Partner with Analytics team members in the development of reports and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to identify areas of opportunity for process improvement - Utilize continuous improvement methods to drive marked improvements in process performance with process owners Other Details: - Job location: Calgary, Alberta - Shift schedule:5x2 – Monday to Friday, 8 hours/day - Competitive salary, stock options, stock savings plan and benefits - This is a safety sensitive position Skills & Qualifications: - Typically 8+ years of related industry experience in a supply management and/or systems support role, combined with a university degree or related post-secondary education - Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes (i.e. inventory management, master data, warehousing, logistics, procurement, contracting, invoicing, etc.) - Extensive exposure to technology and tools in the Supply Chain context (i.e. Source-to-pay tools (i.e. Ivalua, Arriba, etc), Asset management systems (i.e. Maximo), Logistics and distribution tools (i.e. 3GTMS) - We're looking for someone who thrives in a team-oriented environment and has exceptional verbal and written communication skills - Solid ability to create and maintain strong relationships across the organization at all levels. - Demonstrated capacity to establish and sustain strong professional relationships throughout all tiers of the organization - Extensive exposure to project management methodologies and progressive experience in delivering change initiatives - Certification in Supply Chain related designation (i.e, SCMP, CSCP, CPIM) and or Continuous Improvement Techniques (Lean, Six Sigma) Why Canadian Natural?
