      Join us in this role where you’ll be supporting the Regional Category Manager and the Regional O&M Procurement manager for US projects with daily procurement activities, working closely with our stakeholders. You’ll manage the process of purchasing spares and tools, supporting in requesting quotes and help negotiate contracts for the same.

Together with the rest of the North American Procurement department, you’ll oversee transitioning vendors from sourcing to supply management, Participate in continuous improvements initiatives of the operational purchasing processes and work with key suppliers across the globe.

      Location: Port Jefferson, NY (Preferred), Quonset, RI could also be considered.

      You’ll play an important role in:

      • Ensure deliveries and purchase orders are placed to meet the requirements from sites in terms of best price, quality and delivery date. Ensure ‘Critial’ components are handled and purchased with highest priority

      • Ensure that POs are created and placed with suppliers where agreements exists. PO follow up with suppliers from commercial and technical point of view

      • Expediting and close follow up with suppliers on supply chain bottlenecks and improvements

      • Support sourcing and negotiations with new suppliers for Spares and Tools, where no contract is in place

      • Ensure contribution to the overall procurement savings

      • Supplier Management and evaluation in cooperation with Regional and Global Category Managers

      • Optimization of procurement categories in cooperation with Sourcing & Category Managers

      • Continuous improvements – Participate in continuous improvements initiatives of the operational purchasing processes.

      • Ensure procurement excellence and compliance for operational purchasing

      To succeed in the role, you:

      • Have 2-5 years of Supply Chain Management, Sourcing, Procurement experience

      • A College degree would also be acceptable if the candidate has gained relevant experience through working in SCM/Purchasing/Procurement areas

      • Relevant technical or commercial education in SCM/ Purchasing/Finance or Business Administration

      • Experience with various types of tactical procurement (services, spares, tools)

      • Recommended experience with supply chain and logistics and construction of offshore wind farms and power plants

      • have proven negotiation skills, enabling you to communicate professionally with key business partners, while maintaining contractual and business objectives

      • have a proactive and systematic approach to your work tasks, with an ability to balance competing priorities in a large matrixed organization

      • Are comfortable working independently with autonomy while proactively collaborating with colleagues towards achieving a shared mission
