      The Supply Planner - Distributed Brands is responsible for closely monitoring the lifecycle of inventory across a subset of nonproprietary product. This role is responsible for the day-to-day relationship of suppliers which could include facilitating key meetings, item management, and supplier performance tracking. This collaborative role will work closely with our distribution centers, logistics, sales and marketing teams to maximize the brands success.

      Typical pay for this position is $60,000-75,000. The final offer for this position will be based on the unique experience and qualifications of the candidate selected. This position may also be eligible for a bonus not included in the base pay range.

      Roles & Responsibilities

      Service Level Management

      • Category and item level fill rate
      • Kits and parts fill rate
      • A and B items in stock rate
      • Excess Inventory Tracking and Disposition
      • Purchase Order Management
      • Maintaining current orders
      • Customer backorders

      Supplier Scorecard Facilitation

      • Supplier negotiations on multiple levels of the relationship.
      • Facilitator of key supplier meetings to manage relationship expectations.
      • Supplier performance tracking, reporting, and monitoring.
      • Development of action plans in relation to Supplier Scorecard metrics.

      Portfolio Management

      • Item level carrying decision.
      • Item content information.
      • Item pricing based on competitive landscape of the industry.
      • Support new supplier on-boarding process.
      • Portfolio optimization through industry research and emerging brand awareness.

      Performs other duties as assigned.

      Education and/or Experience

      Education:
      Bachelor’s degree preferred in related business field i.e., Business Management, Supply
      Chain Management, Project Management, or Finance. Or relative job experience.

      Experience:
      2-5 years of relevant experience in inventory and supply planning, project management,
      purchasing or supplier performance management.
      • Preferred experience using Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.
      • Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) accreditation or other relevant
      certification is advantageous

      Skills
      • Logical thinking – ability to analyze a situation and determine a sensible solution
      • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills required, advanced Excel skills is advantageous.
      • Team player – able to work well across business operations teams.
      • Effective interpersonal communication skills and the ability to influence people at all levels
      within our organization and externally with our suppliers.
      • Capable of utilizing data files and Oracle Fusion Cloud based software to manage the
      planning process.
      • Organizational Skills – advanced ability of logical thinking combined with strong follow
      through is key.
      • Adept at working with other cultures.
      • Daily schedule flexibility to manage meetings across different time zones.

      Physical Demands

      • Prolonged sitting at a desk
      • Regular typing on a keyboard and use of a mouse, monitor and other computer equipment
      • Indoor work with limited exposure to outdoor weather elements
      • Primary work is performed at a physical company office in a cubicle setting. If/when working from a home office it is the employees responsibility to ensure ergonomic compliance standards are upheld for the best possible working conditions
