- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in Supply Chain/Logistics Management or Business Administration.
- 5+ years of experience in Inventory Management
- 3+ years of experience in Supply Planning and the enabling of Supply Planning Systems (SAP APO /SNP/MRP)
- Advanced knowledge of SAP APO/DP
- Advanced knowledge of MRP including MRP inputs and outputs and their impact on overall supply plan
- Familiarity with SAP APO/PP-DS with respect to Master Production Scheduling (MPS)
- Familiarity with impact of sales initiatives on the variability of volume
- Experience managing change
- Ability to work effectively with demand planning, finance, sales, operations, customer service, distribution, transportation, 3PL, capacity planning, etc.
- Advanced ability to proactively identify and root cause supply planning anomalies and identify corrective action
- Strong understanding of Supply Chain Management principles
- Current with best practices in supply planning, statistics, and tools
- Advanced understanding of SAP purchasing master data including PIR, Source List & MRP parameters and their impact on MRP/APO
- Basic understanding of data tables inlcuding master data, source list and PIR tables
- Strong understanding of PSI and supply plan modeling
- Strong budget planning, expense management, and reporting skills
- Strong understanding of complexity of large parts scope and segmentation
- Strong understanding of a multi echelon supply network
- Strong ability to manage allocation of supplier/factory constrained capacity

Job Description
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
The Parts Supply Planner III is a senior level role to balance supply with demand for manufactured and purchased service parts, to support required customer service levels; while optimizing production mix within the working capital constraints of the financial plan. In addition, this position is responsible for identifying supply planning system and process improvements.
The Parts Supply Planner III is expected to validate and meet the monthly inventory days of supply by product code and facilitate the reduction of excess inventory. The planner works closely with the manufacturers (internal and external) to manage their inventory and coordinate inventory movement with transportation, physical distribution and customer service. The Parts Supply Planner III assists in developing key metrics of network and facing fill rates, days of supply, and inventory versus plan. The Supply Planner III will be responsible to develop pre-build schedules that smooth manufacturing build plans (both internal factory and external supplier) within working capital guidelines.
This Parts Supply Planner III coordinates with demand planning to assure the quality of demand data entering the supply chain and provide input to the strategic inventory segmentation (MTO, MTS), stock / non-stock classification, acceptable lead time expectations, and collaborating on executable inventory levels.

The Compensation range for this position is approximately $72k - $94,500k and will be based on the candidate’s qualification, experience, and education.
