      Lockheed Martin is seeking a Supply Technician
      in the Fort Moore, Ga area.

      Inventory management, storage management,
      cataloging, and property utilization) related to
      depot, local, or other supply activities. Work
      usually is segregated by commodity area or
      function, and controlled in terms of difficulty,
      complexity, or responsibility. Assignments usually relate to stable or standardized segments of technical supply management operations; or to functions or subjects that are narrow in scope or limited in difficulty. The work generally involves individual case problems or supply actions. This work may require consideration of program requirements together with specific variations in or from standardized guidelines. Assignments require: a good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies,
      nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines. An understanding of the needs of the organization serviced. Analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines.

      -Coordinate with subordinate unit maintenance
      personnel to track work order and requisition
      status for all maintenance jobs within the
      unit through GCSS-A.

      -Perform liaison duties with higher support
      agencies for maintenance support, training and
      special requests.

      -Track and monitor work requests submitted
      through work center.

      -Conduct logistical maintenance assistance with unit personnel.

      -Perform manual or automated walk-thru
      requests with installation supply support activity and surrounding internal/external units.

      -Track repair part shipment status up to receipt
      by unit personnel and follow-on installation of
      those repair parts in an effort to maintain
      reporting accuracy and readiness timeliness.

      -Create, review and update daily and weekly
      reports and submit corrections back to units for update.

      -Recommend and implement changes to improve operational flow of information and data updates with units.

      -Perform shipping and receiving duties
      -Responsible for keeping an adequate supply of repair parts on hand.

      -Required to make pick-up and deliveries of parts and paperwork in a government vehicle.

      -Report defective materials or questionable
      conditions to Supply Supervisor. -Possess excellent work ethic, verbal and written communication skills, and be detailed and accurate in performing all functions.

      -Be familiar with AR 25-50 and be able to write
      correspondence in a military format, when
      necessary.

      -Be able to operate a standalone computer
      without assistance and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.

      -Possess a valid, unencumbered state driver’s
      license.

      -Maintain files in accordance with applicable
      Army, Navy, and Department of Defense (DoD)
      regulations.

      -High School Diploma or GED

      -At least 3 yrs. experience in GCSS-A/Supply Field

      -Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds or more, bend, sit, stand, reach and move about the facility.

      -A GCSS-A Certification -Provide assistance with Company and Battalion reports; perform individual job and parts status tracking for each job reported; and perform administrative functions for a Battalion sized maintenance section or element

      -Be familiar with LIS systems for ordering parts for vehicle repair

      -Have knowledge of AMSS reporting data for
      receipt, review, and processing.

      -Be able to receive and process daily and weekly transaction diskettes from each unit within the Battalion and research requisition status for every CL IX or other class part ordered Lockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
