Description

SAIC is seeking a Supply Technician to support the US Navy in Hanahan, SC.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinating and Expediting flow of material, parts and assemblies
• Monitor, correct, and report material record discrepancies.
• Reconcile receiving, shipping, and warehouse inventory reports.
• Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock levels & conducting regular inventory counts.
• Collaborate with material handlers and other warehouse/logistics staff to ensure timely, efficient packaging, handling, storage, and transportation (PHS&T) of material.
• Audit inventory and material handling processes.

Qualifications

Required Education and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED and five (5) years of experience, to include:
• Supervisory or warehouse lead
• Logistics support for projects involving electronic / electrical and installation, ordering acquisition, distribution of material, equipment and resources
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Desired Qualifications:

• Forklift certification

Clearance Requirement:

• Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a DOD Public Trust security clearance. Active clearances accepted
