      Support Engineer III/ R&D Technician

      Location: Onsite - Redmond, WA

      Placement Type: Managed Service Project

      Description:

      As the Research and Development Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the assembly & testing of clients’s satellite wire harnessing. This role requires working knowledge of harness tooling, assembly best practices, and typical testing requirements. You will work closely with the design engineering team on both early hardware development and setting the stage for later production hardware. We are looking for candidates who thrive in a fast paced, start-up like environment. To be successful you need to be highly motivated and detail oriented while showing the highest standards of execution.

      Key job responsibilities

      * Assembly of wire harness test and flight hardware

      * Experience working with FOD and ESD sensitive hardware

      * Execute test procedures for component and assembly level testing

      * Assist in the setup and commissioning of production equipment

      * Assemble tooling and assist with equipment maintenance

      Additional Skills & Qualifications:

      Previous aerospace and space experience is a plus also

      Degree or Certification:

      • IPC/WHMA-A-620 Cert would be not required but would be a huge plus if worker had this cert but not required.

      • HS Degree required, Bachelor’s or Associates is a plus.
