      Transportation Support Specialist – Call Center

      Location: Tempe, AZ

      Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 hour

      Contract: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire


      About the Role

      Are you a problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We’re hiring Transportation Support Specialists to join a dynamic operations team that keeps freight moving across North America. This role is perfect for individuals withcall center experience who enjoy helping others, staying organized, and working under pressure. You’ll be the first point of contact for drivers and carriers, helping resolve delivery issues and ensuring freight gets to its destination on time.


      Key Responsibilities

      • Provide excellent phone support to drivers and transportation partners
      • Investigate delivery issues and delays by making outbound calls
      • Monitor freight movement and identify potential disruptions
      • Support during peak seasons and weather-related events (overtime may be required)
      • Use internal tools to track shipments and gather data
      • Work closely with other teams to ensure smooth operations
      • Assist with driver assignments, load tracking, and equipment availability
      • Follow a structured schedule including breaks and shift times

      Qualifications

      • Call center experience (inbound or outbound)
      • Strong call control and ability to stay focused on solutions
      • Calm and professional under pressure
      • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
      • Willing to work 40+ hours/week, including nights, weekends, and holidays
      • Flexible and reliable in a high-pressure environment

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
