      Summary of the Role

      Calamos Wealth Management (“CWM”) is seeking a highly motivated candidate to join our team as a Support Specialist. This administratively focused position will provide comprehensive administrative support while working closely with team members within Client Service and Operations partners. The Support Specialist will benefit from mentorship opportunities with various experienced members of the CWM team to develop skills and knowledge of the wealth management industry. The role will report to CWM’s Business Strategist and be based in our Chicago office with occasional travel required to our Naperville location.

      Primary Responsibilities

      • Account Management - Open and activate accounts with Operations partners by immersing in the required proprietary system and processes.
      • Sales Support - Gather, consolidate, and maintain client data for sales enablement projects. Assist with daily leads process by logging lead information onto CRM system, providing prospective client research, and communicating details to advisors.
      • Reporting - Create ad hoc and recurring reports to support business operations
      • Process Documentation - Document process improvements, capturing stakeholder insights, workflows, and recommended solutions
      • Cross-Team Coordination - Interface with Portfolio Management and Client Service teams on client onboarding, CRM systems, and internal communications

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline is required.
      • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and broader Office suite (Power BI, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote and SharePoint).
      • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, while managing priority shifts and acting with a sense of urgency.
      • Strong organizational skills and heightened attention to detail.
      • Aptitude to leverage both quantitative and qualitative resources to understand complex financial situations and present solutions.
      • Discretion and tact while participating in strategic initiatives involving sensitive & confidential matters and leadership team.
      • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
      • Self-starter with analytical & problem-solving skills.

      Compensation Disclosure

      The compensation for this role takes into account various factors, including work location, individual skill set, relevant experience, and other business needs. The estimated base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 annually. Additionally, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Please note that this is the current estimate of the base salary range intended for this role at the time of posting. The base salary range may be adjusted in the future.
