Job Description

Assists program facilitator, both in person and/or virtually, with implementing program curriculum for one (1) or more of YAI’s Family Support group offerings, tracking attendance and may assist with updates to curriculum.
Engages with program participants of varying abilities and support needs both individually and as a group; prompts for participation and engagement based on program focus.
Ensures a safe and structured environment; completes facility set-up/clean-up for each session.
Communicates with program facilitator and/or supervisor as needed; escalates programmatic concerns and reports operational issues related to program equipment and facilities.
Interacts with family members; answers questions and reports issues and concerns to program facilitator and/or Supervisor.
Remains current with mandatory and other training, successfully completing within the required time frame.
Performs all other duties, as assigned.
High School Diploma or GED; or
Satisfactory combination of education, experience and/or training.
Must be reliable, have excellent attendance, and be punctual.
Basic computer skills - including email, utilizing Workday and related systems (DA, etc.) to complete tasks.
Ability to complete room set up, including movement/sliding of tables, chairs and other equipment.
Advanced degree, training and/or certification in program focus preferred.
Experience working with people with I/DD.

Compensation: $17.25 hourly
