Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-motivated individual to join the Therapy team working within the MSK & Orthopaedic Outpatient Teams at The Rotherham Foundation Trust. Our team consists of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Therapy Support workers and Assistant Practitioners. The post involves working across our sites (The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust, Rotherham Community Health Centre and The Park Rehabilitation Centre).
Your patient caseload would comprise of MSK (patients that have been referred by their GP) or Orthopaedic (patients that have been referred by an Orthopaedic Consultant)
The work pattern is Monday Friday with one late night evening until 8pm.37.5 hours per week
Main duties of the job
The patients that you will treat/rehabilitate will have been initially assessed by an MSK or Orthopaedic Physiotherapist and then passed to you to continue with their care. These patients may either be seen on a 1:1 basis or as part of an exercise group/class. Experience of working within exercise/group settings would be advantageous.
We have a strong commitment to supervision, appraisal and staff training.
