- Assist in patient procedures u sing knowledge of anesthesia and analgesia related protocols and procedures, including formulating anesthetic plans tailored to individual patient needs.u00A0 u00A0
- Manage appointments , obtain histories, medical record keeping, invoicing, patient discharges, etc.,u00A0 u00A0
- I ntravenous catheter placement, endotracheal intubation and anesthetic equipment use and maintenance u00A0 u00A0
- Thorough understanding of anesthetic considerations and how comorbidities affect case protocol and perioperative management u00A0
- Monitor anesthesia , trouble shoot anesthetic complications and mak e appropriate interventions u00A0
- Continuous expan sion of knowledge and skillset; advanced anesthetic skills include arterial line placement, epidurals, difficult airway intubation, and critical case management.u00A0 u00A0
- Lean on t horough understanding of physiology and pharmacology to facilitate delivery of appropriate anesthetic care for high risk patients or procedures.u202Fu00A0 u00A0
- Drive the MedVet Experience and ensure our patients receive the highest quality care u00A0
- Inspire, teach, multitask and be a highly functional team member u00A0
- Ensure documentation is accurate and complete u00A0
- State Registered Veterinary Technician license preferred u00A0
- Prior veterinary experience required , previous a nesthesia experience desired u00A0
- Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.) u00A0
- Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary u00A0
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment u00A0
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills u00A0
