      Vancouver Clinic is looking for a Surgical Insurance Authorization Specialist to join our team! In this role you will ensure accurate processing of all surgical referral requests by clinicians and clinical staff in a timely and professional manner. This person will represent the clinic in a positive, courteous, and compassionate manner and aid in the delivery of high-quality health care to all patients. You will contribute to the success of the clinic by providing prompt, efficient, and friendly service via in person, over the phone, or electronically.

      Schedule: Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm at our Evergreen Admin Office. Opportunity to become hybrid/remote after successful completion of training and requirements (up to six months).

      Location: NE Vancouver, Image area, near Evergreen High School (13898 NE 28th St, Vancouver, WA 98682).

      Compensation: Hourly compensation minimum is $21.18, hiring rate dependent on qualifications and professional experience. Base Medical, Dental, and Rx Insurance premium is 100% paid for by Vancouver Clinic for full-time employees.

      EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

      • High School diploma or equivalent required.

      • Minimum of two years’ experience required in either a medical office setting or in the health insurance industry

      • One year of experience in insurance authorization required.

      • Prefer those with Epic EHR experience.

      Pay Range:

      $20.76 - $29.06

PTO and Personal Time accruals are pro-rated by FTE/hours worked. Non-benefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked.
