What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform surgical or procedural scheduling and clerical duties
- Serve as a communication link between nursing team, physicians, and clinics
- Assign surgical cases to available time slots and ensure proper equipment and staff needs
- Liaise with specialty clinics and physicians for correct surgical case scheduling
- Create and maintain the daily operating room schedule with accurate patient demographics and procedure details
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 1 year of related experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 3 years of previous experience with surgical or procedural scheduling systems
