- Act as an in-house field surveyor to supplement field crew and office staff.
- Perform 'Rodman' type work, staking out properties for residential and commercial projects.
- Provide technical expertise in topographic, construction, and boundary surveying techniques.
- Conduct survey activities including leveling, traversing, topographic mapping, construction layout, as-built surveys, boundary surveys, profile, and cross-section surveys.
- Calculate parcel and lot line locations and/or easement lines using taxation and title information.
- Prepare easement and right-of-way descriptions and documents, complete with drawings.
- 1+ year of experience in field surveying.
- Proficiency in topography, boundary, Alta, and construction surveying.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying Ohio weather conditions.
- Bachelor of Science in Surveying and Mapping is preferred.
- Experience using Civil3d, Auto Cad, or Carlson software.
- Familiarity with ODOT Survey Standards.

Work Environment
The role involves working in the field almost 100% of the time, with the provision of a company truck for travel to job sites. The work encompasses both outdoor and indoor tasks, offering a variety of roles in construction, site development, and surveying for municipal, residential, and commercial projects.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr.
