Job Description

- Conduct scenario analysis and impact assessment on sustainable portfolio and carbon footprint.
- Assess the sustainable portfolio and carbon footprint for internal and external reporting.
- Conduct market research on specific (end)markets related to sustainability, such as green buildings, mobility, and energy.
- Provide market insights on sustainability topics, including biodiversity, climate change, and circularity.
- Gather market intelligence on the sustainability performance of competition and sustainability leaders.
- Support business units with customer inquiries regarding carbon footprint and sustainability performance by maintaining and updating the Q&A database.
- Manage the process of collecting, reviewing, and submitting responses to key ESG rating agencies.
- Define and execute sustainability projects.
- Customer Centricity: Understand the impact of our Sustainability program and carbon footprint reduction program on internal and external customers.
- Business Acumen: Apply robust analyses and judgement to improve effectiveness and efficiency, delivering optimal financial return for AkzoNobel.
- Project Management: Plan, organize, and manage resources and activities to achieve specified outcomes within clearly defined timeframes and standards.
- Organizational Acumen: Successfully work within the matrix and organizational boundaries to create optimal business outcomes through successful stakeholder management.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Scientific disciplines (or equivalent) required; advanced degree (MSc, MBA) preferred (Chemistry, chemical engineering, or equivalent).
- Experience: Experience in a complex, global, diversified company; proven track record in consulting skills and influencing senior stakeholders.
