Learn about BDG’s focus areas in sustainability.
Support key stakeholders in the sourcing, creation , and implementation of sustainability information to support marketing and sales efforts .
Work with various internal and external partners to c onduct data analysis from BDG sustainab ility, agriculture , and social responsibility programs .
Visit orchards to conduct in-field research to better understand water impacts of climate-smart practices through such activities as meeting with Growers, observing cover crop, soil testing, etc.
Ensure tracked data is current and accurate .

Currently enrolled college/university (sophomore, junior or senior ) student working toward a degree in a relevant field, such as Sustainability, Agriculture, Environmental Science , or relat ed natural sciences; or a business degree with significant coursework in an above field .
Must be available for program duration, or a minimum of 10 weeks (June - September)
- Strong technical and analytical skills, with experience collecting, validating , analyzing, reporting, and summarizing data
- Strong skills in process management, documentation, and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with sustainability, agriculture, climate change, corporate citizenship, and environmental issues
Must be able to work in office/desk environment for extended periods.
May be required to physically collect observations and soil samples in orchard settings

N/AJOB OVERVIEW:
The Sustainability Intern will support the development and execution of exciting projects within the sustainability team. Projects will require working closely with the Sustainability Team and strategic internal and external partners. The project will be contingent on the background and strengths of the successful candidate. Two potential projects may include but are not limited to: (1) create and integrate sustainable sales and marketing materials such as informational presentations, video, marketing, and communications related to out sustainable agriculture programs; or (2) to advance our sustainable agriculture programs through grower registration support, on-farm soil or cover crop data collection, data analysis, and related functions.
This is a full-time position, and the program runs for 10-12 weeks (June-September).RESPONSIBILITIES:
