      What Will You Do?

      In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:

      This position will be involved in advancing global sustainability objectives across The Toro Company (TTC.) Engage with internal stakeholders around the world to analyze environmental sustainability data and identify gaps and opportunities for sustainability improvement projects. Assist with executing plans to deliver on TTC’s sustainability commitments, goals, targets and objectives. This role may also include developing corporate training content focused on improving workplace sustainability.

      Prior sustainability internships have focused on the following topics: Scopes 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse gas accounting, product circularity, life cycle assessments, and internal training curriculum development among others.

      What Do You Need?

      To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:

      • Participation in a degree program in Environmental Science and Sustainability or Environmental Engineering
      • Excellent communications, interpersonal and leadership skills
      • Confident, proactive, and able to produce high-quality deliverables with little direct oversight
      • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
      • Microsoft Office skills (must demonstrate expert Excel skills – pivot tables, advanced formulas, macros, etc.)
      • Strong sense of responsibility and accountability – takes ownership and demonstrates initiative and follow-up skills
      • Adaptable and flexible – ability to handle ambiguity and changing priorities
      • Ability to multitask and to work in a fast-paced environment
      • Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and a customer service orientation
