      To support our Global Sustainability Lead, at our headquarters in Schaffhausen, we are looking for a

      SUSTAINABILITY MANAGER

      (M/F/X — 100%)

      You will work closely with the Global Sustainability Lead and internal stakeholders to ensure the continuous development of the company's sustainability strategy. As the first point of contact for all sustainability-related topics, you coordinate inquiries and support in the preparation of quarterly meetings of IWC’s Sustainability Committee. You will lead and take ownership of projects and activities around sustainability and participate in exciting strategic initiatives that will drive IWC Schaffhausen’s Sustainability ambitions to the next level.

      Start: October 2023 or by arrangement

      Type of contract: fixed-term employment for 12 months (possibility for permanent contract afterward)

      YOUR MISSON AT IWC.

      In your role, you will act as a deputy for our Global Sustainability Lead and will have full responsibility for the “Social & Governance” part of our ESG strategy, such as but not limited to:

      Governance (Process)

      • GRI Reporting - Ensure quality and timeliness of sustainability reporting including data collection, content management, and preparation for the assurance audit.
      • Data Management - Ensure the right data flow and quality as well as regular dashboards to measure and track the progress of KPIs.
      • Strategy - Lead initiatives to successfully implement IWC’s 2030 Strategy and act as Project Management Officer to track and trace progress on all initiatives.
      • Global Sustainability Team - Lead, together with the team head, our global sustainability ambassadors who are located all around the world.
      • Compliance - Ensure compliance with group requirements, ESG Strategy and take responsibility for the Code of Conducts as well as Standards and Provisions. Support the Sourcing and Compliance Team in our RJC certifications.

      Social (People & Promise)

      • Promise Strategy - Lead our “Promise” (Community) strategy and make sure it comes to life with measurable outcomes. Support our People Experience Team in developing a dedicated Volunteering Strategy that matches our strategy and direction.
      • Sustainability L&D / Internal Communication - Together with the Junior Sustainability Communication Manager you will draft internal communications and a Sustainability L&D strategy to increase commitment and awareness of the topic throughout our company in close collaboration with our People Experience Team. As a change agent, you will provide day-to-day guidance, subject matter expert support, and coach different functions.
      • People - Support and assist the People Experience Team with all sustainability-related topics (e.g. sustainable workplace, DE&I, Great Place to Work, etc.).
      • Human Rights - Act as a single point of contact for all Human Right related topics.

      HOW YOU BECOME PART OF THE JOURNEY.

      • Master’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Sustainability Management, Engineering, or Natural Science
      • Min. of 3 - 5 years experience in Sustainability Management/Consulting, Reporting & related topics
      • Strong experience in leading complex multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment
      • Being comfortable in working closely with C-Level
      • Fluency in English is a must, German and French are a plus
      • Strong sense of ownership for topics and projects with a solution oriented “can-do” mentality
      • Hands-on personality that is used to working independently and flexibly
      • A multidimensional thinker with a solid understanding of the business landscape, as well as the trends in sustainability, science, and socio-economics
