About the Role

As a Sustainability Specialist at Scoular, you will play a key role in managing and supporting the company’s sustainability initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, gather and analyze data, and communicate sustainability policies and objectives to internal and external audiences. You will also develop and maintain expertise in sustainability topics relevant to Scoular’s business units, including regenerative agriculture, GHG protocol, and renewable energy. Job Responsibilities

• Facilitate day-to-day project management of sustainability initiatives by fostering collaboration across corporate functions, including accounting, finance, and legal.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to bolster internal and external sustainability programming.
• Coordinate internal data gathering to address customer inquiries, providing crucial support to Scoular's diverse business units.
• Contribute to the development of Scoular's annual sustainability report by curating content and summarizing key sustainability projects.
• Communicate sustainability policies and objectives to internal and external audiences.
• Develop, maintain and apply industry leading expertise in sustainability as it applies to topics relevant to Scoular's business units, including regenerative agriculture, GHG protocol, and renewable energy.

About You:

• Degree in sustainability, environmental science, agriculture, or other relevant field
• 3-5 years work experience in sustainability, ESG, or project implementation
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including developing and editing written materials.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams
