- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
- MBA preferred
- Experience with financial modelling
- Knowledge of GAAP Accounting
- At least 10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong expertise in financial statements, corporate finance, and modeling.
- Direct FP&A experience in payer or value-based care environments.
- Advanced skills in creating financial models to simulate different business scenarios, such as cash flow models, profitability models, and risk assessment models.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools to derive actionable insights and present data in a clear, visual format.
- Ability to interpret financial data and prepare complex financial reports, financial models, and forecasts. Proficiency in ratio analysis, trend analysis, and variance analysis is crucial.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate complex data into strategic insights.
- Proven track record of driving financial performance and influencing executive leadership.
- Demonstrated resilience, adaptability, and a strategic mindset in fast-paced environments.
- Strong leadership abilities with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.

Against that backdrop, we are seeking an accomplished executive to The Senior Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) will lead Humana’s financial strategy, planning, and performance analysis. This executive will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting while providing strategic financial insights that drive the company’s continued growth and mission.
The Senior Vice President, FP&A will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer. This position will be located either in Louisville or Washington, D.C. and will require relocation for candidates who do not live in either of those areas. Full relocation assistance will be provided.
