      SVP, Marketing Responsibilities:

      • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing plan that aligns with SCCU’s overall strategic goals. Set strategic vision and plan for the marketing team, providing direction, support, and guidance as needed.
      • Work closely with other departments, including product management, sales, operations, and finance, to ensure that marketing efforts are integrated and aligned with the credit union's overall business objectives.
      • Collaborate with the product management team to develop a deep understanding of the market, competitors, and consumers. Identify competitive intelligence to inform product development and marketing strategies.
      • Define product go-to-market strategy, including product positioning, messaging and channel selection.
      • Lead implementation of product marketing strategy roadmaps in partnership with product management.
      • Design and review the annual marketing budget.
      • Oversee all marketing campaigns, including email, social media, direct mail, and advertising, to ensure that they are on brand, on message, and meet the credit union's standards for effectiveness.
      • Use data analytics to track marketing performance, adjust strategies accordingly, and communicate results to the executive management team.
      • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including advertising agencies, media outlets, and community organizations.
      • Manage the credit union's brand and reputation, ensuring that it is consistently communicated and reinforced across all channels.
      • Remain up-to-date on regulations, industry trends, best practices in marketing, and shares insights and recommendations with senior leadership.

          SVP, Marketing Qualifications:

          • 4-year college degree in marketing or related business area required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
          • 10+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role required.
