Manage project managers and analysts to both achieve organizational goals as well as be cost-effective.
Implement and lead appropriate governance processes for programs, projects and initiatives for IT and the business. Provide timely, clear communications regarding status, issues, risks, and impact.
Work with Senior Management to define the strategic direction of the organization and develop a plan for accomplishing the stated objectives.
Develop high-level and detailed project plans and ensure the scope and approach are fully understood by all stakeholders.
Identify and track key project milestones.
Evaluate projects for potential risks and develop procedures to mitigate exposure for timely and uncompromised project delivery.
Utilize change control procedures and processes to manage scope, schedule, and cost.
Create and maintain project management policies and procedures.
Manage project deliverables, including cost, timelines, and risk.
Ensure proper controls are in place and processes are well documented and monitored on a regular basis.
Determine ways to measure productivity and execution efficiency to allow for continuous improvement.
Perform personnel managerial duties such as goal setting and tracking, performance monitoring and coaching, ensuring associate engagement, and other typical managerial duties.
Bachelor’s Degree in STEM, or related field.
Master’s Degree, preferred.
15 + years of Project Management experience.
Experience managing technical and business projects in a corporate environment.
5+ years of management experience.
Project Management certification.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, listening, relationship building and negotiations skills.
Excellent critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Strong skills in productivity tools
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to collaborate with all parts of the organization to achieve results.

Primary Function
The SVP - Project Management is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals. This includes management, reporting, and execution of the project portfolio.
