- Design and develop sweaters and knitwear across licensed brands and club store programs, ensuring alignment with brand standards and retailer expectations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create trend-right assortments tailored to the club customer, across categories such as women’s, men’s, and kids’.
- Prepare detailed CADs, stitch layouts, color-ups, and technical packages for development and production.
- Create seasonal mood boards and presentation decks for internal teams, licensors, and retail partners.
- Participate in fittings and provide clear direction on proportion, construction, and technical refinement.
- Research yarns, stitches, and club-appropriate design elements to inform product development.
- Partner with sourcing, tech design, and merchandising to ensure all products meet margin targets and development timelines.
- Understand packaging and bulk floor presentation standards required by club retailers.
- Stay informed on competitive product, market trends, and club-specific performance metrics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Knitwear, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sweater and knitwear design, with licensed brand and club store experience required.
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; PLM experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of sweater construction, yarns, and stitch techniques.
- Experience working with overseas vendors and managing development from concept to production.
- Highly organized with strong time management and attention to detail.
- Ability to work within licensed brand guidelines while delivering commercially viable assortments for the club channel.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- The approximate annual base salary range for this position is $85,000.00 - $100,000.00, which can vary based on role requirements, skill set, and years of experience.

We’re specifically looking for a designer who has experience working with licensed brands and clubs accounts. This role supports the end-to-end design and development of sweaters and knitwear, ensuring alignment with license guidelines, customer expectations, and the unique requirements of club retailers. The ideal candidate has hands-on knitwear design experience and understands how to balance trend direction with commercial needs across these channels.
