      Description

      Are you looking for a position with purpose that will utilize your knowledge and skills while providing a valuable service to your community? If you are a Swim Instructor or Lifeguard with an interest in pursuing a full time role, this may be the opportunity for you!

      As a Swim Instructor Coordinator you are responsible for the day to day scheduling of swim lessons . Our Swim Instructor Coordinator will lead and support our staff while ensuring a great experience for all.

      On a regular day you will...

      • Return Swim Academy email/phone inquiries

      • Work with Swim Instructors to attain their certification

      • Attain certification to lead Swim Instructor Course

      • Daily facility upkeep, cleanliness, organization

      • Implement growth, retention, recruitment strategies

      • Weekly staff email communication

      • Answer member emails and voicemails

      • Role model effective instruction techniques

      • Tours, swim registrations and participant placement

      • Determine proper YSL levels for swim lesson particpants

      • Print Swim Academy Rosters

      • Share rosters with staff, update teaching binders

      • Support curriculum implementation

      • Certificates/Passport distribution

      • Parent Communication - Newsletter, etc.

      • Manage Private Swim Lesson enrollment

      Qualifications


      • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
      • High School Diploma or equivalent required
      • Must be able to obtain the Lifeguard instructor certification and Swim Instructor certifications with in 90 days.
