      Job Title: Swing Shift Machine Operator

      Job Description

      This role involves ensuring a continuous flow of quality energy for optimal plant operations. The technician will control energy systems and maintain steam pressure crucial for plant functionality, while also performing water treatment duties and monitoring processes and equipment to ensure the provision of clean water.

      Responsibilities

      • Maintain continuous flow of quality energy for optimal plant operations.
      • Control energy systems and maintain steam pressure for plant operations.
      • Perform water treatment duties and monitor processes and equipment to ensure clean water.
      • Sample or test processes and adjust treatment processes as needed.
      • Perform general housekeeping and light maintenance tasks.

      Essential Skills

      • Production, assembly, and agricultural/farm/construction background (2 years)
      • Ability to lift 50 lbs
      • Preventive maintenance experience
      • High school diploma or GED.
      • 1+ year of forklift experience.

      Work Environment

      This position requires working both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, including confined spaces. The role involves exposure to chemicals, pressurized steam, and a noisy environment, as well as dust, heat, noise, and fumes. The shift schedule rotates between day and night shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM. The dress code is casual, with steel-toed boots provided, along with other safety equipment and work uniforms after employment.

      This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nevada, Iowa.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
