      Location - Pune, India

      Role Description

      The Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) Technology Service Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, administrations, and support of SEP solutions within a Windows server environment. This role involves proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, policy management, performance optimization, and ensuring compliance with security standards.

      Your key responsibilities

      • Manage and maintain Symantec Endpoint Protection(SEP) across the organization.
      • Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts.
      • Perform regular updates and patches to ensure the latest security measures are in place.
      • Collaborate with other teams to integrate Symantec solutions with existing infrastructure.
      • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for endpoint protection issues.
      • Develop and maintain documentation for security policies and procedures

      Your skills and experience

      Required Skills:

      • 6-7 years of experience with Symantec Endpoint Protection and other enterprise antivirus solutions.
      • Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments. Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting SEP on Windows servers.
      • Experience with security incident response and mitigation.
      • Familiarity with network security protocols and best practices.
      • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on compliance and security standards.
      • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
      • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

      Preferred Skills:

      • Experience with Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE).
      • Familiarity with SIEM tools and other security technologies.
      • Relevant certifications in cybersecurity or related fields.
      • Experience in a banking or financial services environment.
