As an intern in the Synchronisation department at Kobalt, you’ll learn how we market and licence our client’s compositions in advertising, film, TV and video games. You’ll have an opportunity to work across both creative and administrative areas to get the full spectrum of tasks and projects associated with this part of the industry.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable professional skills such as communication and teamwork, as well as the confidence to pitch your ideas. You’ll also get to apply your own creativity, curating playlists and tagging song metadata.
About you
You’re creative and have an absolute passion for music, solid administrative and IT skills, and a track record of completing tasks accurately and efficiently.
You can demonstrate excellent communication skills, have a positive attitude and an ability to take initiative and show willingness to help where required.
About our program
Our internship is a paid 6-month program that runs from October 2024 to March 2025. You will work 25 hours a week, and alongside your day to day duties, we offer you a special speaker series where once a quarter have access to a wide range of industry professionals to immerse yourself in the music publishing industry.
As if that wasn’t enough, you will have an opportunity to work on a reflective paper or project and at the end of the program, present directly to our senior-level executives. Alongside our other benefits, we are open to a hybrid working arrangement, but recommend you spend a minimum of 2 days in the office to learn from the best team in the business and enjoy the perks of what our office space can offer!

We are based on the 5th Floor in Goldings House, Hays Galleria (2 Hays Lane, SE1 2HB). You can easily find us by taking a train or tube to London Bridge station. In the area, you will have access to a wide range of local restaurants and shops.
Applicants must be eligible to work in the United Kingdom. A full DBS check will be conducted on acceptance of the offer.
