- Implement IAVA security patches and ensure patch status is recorded in appropriate systems of record.
- Optimize system operations and resource utilization and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
- Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.
- Communicate and coordinate with the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) and Information System Owner (ISO) regarding system changes as part of the Change and Configuration Management Process.
- Support the ISO by completing required milestones of Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M) as directed and coordinate completion status with the ISSO to reflect status within the Source System of Record for Security Authorizations.
- Ensure IT Assets remain compliant with Identity & Access Control Management (ICAM) policy.
- Applies knowledge and understanding of Trusted Thin Client, and enhanced VDI (e.g., remote GPU and memory scaling).
- Possess a working knowledge and understanding of system administration interdependencies as part of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Four (4) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
- DoD 8570 compliance with IAT Level II certification, and Computing Environment (CE) Certification.
- The CE certification requirements can be fulfilled with either Microsoft OS, Cent OS/Red Hat OS CE certifications.
- Ten (10) years' experience as a SA.
- Four (4) years of experience with ITSM.
- Fifteen (15) years' experience as a SA.
- Six (6) years of experience with ITSM.
- TIL 4 platform certification.

SAIC is seeking a highly motivated System Administrator (SA) to join our team and propel the organization forward, providing support in one of five locations: WMA, TX, GA, HI, and/or AK. Contract award is expected in September 2025 with a start in October 2025.
A System Administrator manages and maintains the infrastructure that powers operating systems (UNIX, Linux, and Windows) and networks. Responsibilities span various aspects, including installing and configuring hardware and software, managing user accounts and permissions, monitoring system performance, troubleshooting (Tier 1-3) issues, mobile devices, and implementing and ensuring compliance with applicable system security controls.
