      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Administer databases and data management systems to facilitate data storage, query, and utilization
      - Manage, optimize, and maintain program database systems for reliability and efficiency
      - Perform database administration tasks including installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades
      - Ensure data security, backup, and disaster recovery strategies are in place and tested regularly
      - Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance tuning

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Demonstrated experience managing databases running on Windows servers
      - Demonstrated experience designing and building relational or object-oriented databases
      - Demonstrated experience with data modeling and managing database security
      - Demonstrated experience using Structured Query Language (SQL) and SQL Server “Always On” Availability Groups
      - One or more database administration certifications for Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and/or MySQL databases

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Demonstrated experience synching geographically dispersed databases
      - Demonstrated experience with security scans of databases and mitigation of vulnerabilities
      - Demonstrated experience with creating Windows PowerShell scripts
      - Demonstrated experience developing, documenting, and implementing database backup and recovery processes
      - Demonstrated experience with databases in virtualized environments
