      Job Description

      • You join a internal start up and a team of scientists and engineers (in Renningen and Ludwigsburg) pushing forward the research on highly sensitive quantum sensors. Our objective is the development of a novel class of miniature sensors with unprecedented resolution and accuracy by using quantum technologies that may be used for future brain-machine interfaces. Starting from model based sensor design we give proof of concepts with laboratory demonstrators and continue with conception and prototyping of miniature sensor modules scalable to high volume production.
      • You develop system concepts for quantum sensors suitable for high volume manufacturing by combining quantum physics knowledge with engineering methods.
      • Furthermore, you design, build up, and conduct experiments in our laboratories. To further increase sensitivity of diamond NV center magnetometer and other quantum sensors you implement and optimize quantum measurement protocols.
      • You miniaturize prototypes by application of micro technologies and novel integration concepts.
