Job Summary
About you
Working as the System HR Manager, your primary focus will be to support the Human Resources function so that it meets both the needs of the business and of our associates. The System HR Manager will take the lead role in all of the following functional areas: associate relations, HR specific training, HR, legal requirements and compliance, development and revision of HR policies and procedures, associate engagement survey action plan follow up, performance and merit increase monitoring, assisting hiring managers in the recruitment of hourly team members, and onboarding.
The role will be remote, and candidate can be based in any market that includes the Christus Health System.
The great things you’ll do
● Works with the hiring managers to assist in the recruitment function utilizing the PeopleHub (online recruitment system)
● Works closely with multiple departments in ensuring a successful onboarding experience
● Onboard new hires utilizing the appropriate online portals to ensure all documentation is received in a timely manner
● Assists in the facilitation of the new hire orientations and coordinates the agenda and orientation presenters
● Maintains and coordinates associate recognition programs
● Ensures compliance with all federal and state laws
● Regularly runs and/or reviews HR activity reports
● Supports internal customer survey and associate engagement survey interpretation/feedback process
● Provides assistance implementing HR initiatives
● Process monthly union dues and initiation fees for the new hires
● Prepares, coordinates and presents HR related topics and other HR related training
● Acts as the diversity champion by leading assigned tasks and corporate diversity activities
● Proactively advise managers and employees on conditions of employment, HR policies
and processes
● Develop a proactive and supporting working culture when dealing with employee issues
What we look for in a great candidate
● Strong presentation skills required.
● High level proficiency in written and verbal English
● College degree or equivalent work experience
● 5 or more years of HR experience at Manager or Director level in a healthcare setting
● Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and leaders
● Ability to work in a team and influence across job functions and company levels
● Strong attention to detail
