      Your department:

      Digitalisation Energy Management (MED) unit supports the Energy Management (ME) business owners in managing the business requirements for the IT systems on behalf of ME, with a professional interface towards IT. Furthermore, the unit supports the commercial energy management process with automation, analysis, structuring and pricing, and by providing an algorithmic trading infrastructure. MED creates significant value for Statkraft and its customers by delivering next generation digital solutions in Energy Management. The unit’s responsibility requires an in-depth understanding of the business processes and system landscape in ME.

      The Energy Management Systems Continent & Market Access Platform (MEDC) team delivers Product Ownership, development and improvements of systems supporting the Energy Management of Continental Market Access and Origination Business as well as 3rd party flex assets.

      Job Description

      We are looking for an experienced specialist that will help shape Statkraft's digital future through introducing new technology and driving continuous improvement of tools and processes in close collaboration with our analytical, operative, and technical units. You will play a vital role in managing the Virtual Power Plant (VPP) portfolio of Statkraft in Europe.

      You will have responsibilities including, but not limited, to the following:

      • Support the Product Owner in managing the operational and strategic requirements towards the VPP
      • Represent and translate the needs of Stakeholders towards product development teams in internal IT as well as external vendors and fulfil business requirements resulting in customer satisfaction
      • Deliver on the product roadmap using agile methodology ensuring the projects are realized according to time and quality
      • Collaborate with Stakeholders and product owners to understand their operational and developmental requirements and support strategic ambitions by driving continuous optimization of processes and tools
      • Oversee and execute the implementation of new business processes and support onboarding process of decentralised energy plants to the VPP including asset connectivity
      • Maintain business logic in the products that have been established
      • Ensure robust solutions and provide support where needed

      Qualifications

      • University degree in engineering, natural sciences or business
      • Experience in energy business / Virtual Power Plant system preferred
      • Strong cross team collaboration and service orientation with an ability to effectively influence decisions, direction and outcomes
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
      • Programming skills (especially Python) are a plus
      • Strong process design, automation and technical skills to enable lean and automated process solutions
      • Agile/scrum experience is an advantage
      • Excellent communication skills in English is a must
