Job Summary
The Systems Tester creates comprehensive test plans, scripts and/or test cases to execute in-depth testing, verification, and documentation of systems errors, changes, and enhancements to ensure proper system functionality.Requirements
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field. In lieu of degree, five (5) years' health related non-clerical experience with an insurance, managed care, healthcare or technology related organization.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum three (3) years' system testing experience with a complex system technology.Proficiency working with MS Office Suite, such as Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe.
Knowledge of systems testing.
In-depth knowledge of insurance technology systems such as claims processing, marketing, membership, enrollment, customer service, financial and provider systems preferred.

Assists in the training of new procedures, system modifications and system releases., Collaborates with various internal departments, analysts, development teams, external vendors and leadership to ensure proper testing, and system functionally is met., Identifies and executes improvement initiatives related to the testing., In accordance to business and technical requirements, creates test plans, scripts and/or test cases to provide in-depth testing, verification, and documentation of systems errors, changes, and enhancements to ensure proper system functionality., Other duties as assigned., Prepares reports or audits by analyzing and summarizing test results to make recommendations and meet project timeline., Provides detail documentation of system errors with an explanation of error, expected results and any examples needed to resolve the error utilizing the appropriate tracking method for the assigned system.Certifications
