Job Title: Systems Administrator
Location: Toronto, ON
Duration: 6 + Months

Position Purpose:
Provide consistent levels of organizational and technical expertise which are necessary for the successful implementation and maintenance support of specific systems and subsystems (such as Unix, Linux, AIX, Windows and/or Solaris).

Key Accountabilities:

• Provide the necessary support to ensure the highest level of service for all systems
• Contribute ongoing updates to Disaster Recovery and business Resumption Plans
• Provide assistance during the execution of Disaster Recovery Exercises
• Maintain a strong operational knowledge of the tools required for support of the systems, subsystems and support products
• Provide technical support for problem analysis/determination to ensure affected components are promptly restored to service & ensures appropriate follow up
• Create and maintain documentation and procedures
• Troubleshoot and resolve/escalate incidents according to established SLA guidelines

Knowledge & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT related field
• 5-9 years related Systems Administrator experience

Skills and Competencies:

• Understanding of Process Management
• Above average written /verbal communications skills
• Above average organization and planning skills
