      JOB REQUIREMENTS

      Minimum Education: Post-Secondary degree/certification in Information Technology preferred.

      Minimum Work Experience: 4+ years of experience with Microsoft O365, Windows servers and Active Directory.

      Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Experience with Windows Server and desktop operating system. Able to perform maintenance, support, upgrades, and backup functions. Experience with VMware ESX, vSphere, and VMware Horizon. Experience with enterprise storage systems. Ensure that all systems are secure with cyber security best practices. Must be able to communicate effectively. Ability to follow up on production issues until resolved successfully. Must be flexible and able to work with a team in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

      BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB

      Provides technical expertise in systems administration for the IT department. Works with other IT applications to maintain smooth service flow for the organization. Maintain servers, storage, and virtual environment. Ensure systems are secure.

      ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

      Maintain current client servers - Exchange, SQL, and Windows Servers in a virtual and clustered environment. Server Administration – review logs, backups, perform audits, perform monthly updates, perform yearly disaster recovery exercise. Provide system administration support of multiple remote sites and stand-alone systems. Implements backup and recovery procedures; maintains service logs. Configure and maintain Microsoft Active Directory. Review, research, design, recommend and implement hardware/software solutions to advance the organizations long term goals and objectives. Provide data management and support of unique software applications. Set up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, and installing software on servers and workstations. Assist department managers, and users efforts to enhance/improve day-to-day operations. Monitor application status; support application event triage, monitoring, tracking, and escalation, work with vendors as needed for event resolution. Performs other duties as assigned by department manager.
