      SUMMARY

      Support our U.S. Navy customer’s web-based Human Relations (HR) infrastructure. Responsible for contributing to operation and maintenance of an enterprise portal serving 1M users.

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Work closely with Information Architects, Senior Developers and Product Owners to address user needs, and with Creative Technologists to produce effective and functional solutions while maintaining design integrity across all project phases.
      • Provide leadership to Systems Administrator team as the Lead Systems Administrator.
      • Contribute to the formulation and maintenance of an enterprise-wide baseline of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) operating systems.
      • Support patching of RHEL environments in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Salesforce CRM based development labs, systems test, and production environments.
      • Perform integration of RHEL operating systems and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software tools for custom in-house developed products.
      • Support deployments using container technologies such as Docker, OpenShift and AWS ECR.
      • Perform full integration of DevOps tools that support continuous integration and continuous delivery.
      • Support security activities using relevant tools, systems, and applications in support of Risk Management Framework to include: SPLUNK, APP DYNAMICS, NESSUS, ACAS, DISA STIGs, SCAP, Audit Reduction, and HBSS.
      • Generate or provide input to existing documentation, create new documents, and run books for systems in support of new builds and upgrades to legacy infrastructure systems.
      • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
      • Perform other duties as assigned.

      SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

      Lead Systems Administrator team, mentor personnel, and help guide technical decisions.

      MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

      • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a related technical discipline is preferred.
      • Seven plus (7+) years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education, technical training, and work/military experience required.
      • Proficient in infrastructure hosting technologies – cloud, storage, network, operating systems.
      • Familiar with RDS databases (Oracle, SQL, and/or Postgres).
      • Hands-on experience with automation and scripting (Terraform, python, bash, shell scripting, etc.).
      • Experience using Jenkins, Ansible, or other CI/CD technologies.
      • Relevant knowledge of current and emerging data center and infrastructure technologies.
      • Proficiency in datacenter technologies – cloud, storage, network, operating systems.
      • Must have experience planning, installing, configuring, patching, securing, and troubleshooting issues on the following platforms:
        • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 & 8
        • Windows Server 2016
      • Must be able to demonstrate knowledge related to deploying software and systems in AWS (i.e., Availability Zones, Virtual Private Cloud, Traffic Shaping, Load Balancers, EC2 and S3).
      • Must have experience with fundamental storage concepts: file systems, backup, cloning, snapshotting, logical volume management, disk encryption.
      • Experience in large scale migrations of projects, data, and user from various hosting platforms.
      • May be required to complete Salesforce Platform App Builder training and Trailhead training within two (2) months of the first day of employment.
      • Must have active CompTIA Security+ certification or must be able to obtain and maintain the CompTIA Security+ certification within two (2) months of the first day of employment.
      • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).

      DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

      • Ability and desire to lead a team of other systems administrators to achieve schedule objectives as assigned.
      • Experience managing operations staff, process and procedures for web-based systems preferred.
      • Salesforce CRM experience is a plus.
      • Past technical team leadership experience would be a plus.
      • Experience planning, installing, configuring, patching, securing, and troubleshooting Liferay DX 7.X is a plus.
      • Experience deploying Salesforce CRM is a plus.
      • Familiarity with source and artifact control, and configuration management.
      • Background in supporting cyber security posture with large enterprise environments
      • Experience with Docker containers.
      • Proficient in determining the appropriate strategy for recoverability and continuity of business operations.
      • Strong computer skills including business solution software.
      • Must be analytical and able to problem solve for technical issues.
      • Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English.
      • Must be able to work in a team environment and be able to work independently with little or no supervision, be exceedingly well organized, flexible.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
      • Demonstrated ability to perform diverse duties while operating under time constraints.
      • Demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness; monitors own work to ensure quality.

      WORK SCHEDULE

      Full-time. May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project.

      TRAVEL

      The expected travel time is less than 10%.

      DRIVING REQUIREMENTS:

      Must have or be able to attain a valid state driver’s license and be insurable on the company’s automobile insurance policy. Driving, with or without accommodation, may be required when traveling for training and/or short occasional amounts of local driving. The expected driving time is less than 10%.

      WORK ENVIRONMENT

      Work is expected to be remote; however, the company reserves the right to require onsite work.

      PHYSICAL DEMANDS

      Position consists of sitting for long periods of time, bending, stooping, crouching, and lifting weights up to 20 pounds. Frequently uses hands/fingers for manipulation of keyboard and mouse.       COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS :

      • Pay is $125,000 to $145,000 per year.
