Our work depends on an Systems Administrator joining our Operations Architecture Tools team to administer and configure select client applications and to support other technical activities of our multi-disciplinary team of SME-level systems administrators, engineers, analysts, and specialists providing O&M support to the customer and Stakeholder communities across a wide array of technologies.

      HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
      • Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of applications/tools (e.g., Serena, Active Risk Manager, Project Online) running on one or more operating systems (e.g., Linux, Windows Server)
      • Supports IT management, deployment automation, analysis of functional business requirements and design specifications for functional activities, service request management, application problem analysis and resolution, data validation, single sign-on implementation, application and/or data migration, and test management technologies.

      WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
      • Education: Technical Training, Certification(s), or Degree
      • Required Experience: 1+ years of related experience
      • Required Technical Skills: experience installing, configuring, securing, deploying, integrating, administering, maintaining, enhancing, patching, tuning, and/or upgrading applications hosted on Windows Server and/or RHEL infrastructure
      • Security Clearance Level: Public Trust (DHS HQ EOD required to start; must be able to obtain DHS HQ Final Suitability)
      • Required Skills and Abilities: strong analytical, troubleshooting, and resolution skills; demonstrated experience working in collaborative, fast-paced environments; ability to respond and provide ad hoc support during non-standard working hours (including evenings or weekends)
      • Preferred Skills: degree, preferably in computer engineering, computer science, information systems, or related field of study;

      3+ years experience in tools or applications administration; SSO/SAML implementation experience; AWS Console – S3 and Redshift knowledge; Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) knowledge; SWORD Active Risk Manager (ARM) maintenance and knowledge; Informatica PowerCenter maintenance and knowledge; and certification in ITIL Foundations (v4 preferred) and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS)

      The likely salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
