What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the design, analysis, and configuration of assigned Epic applications
- Provide second-level support by communicating with end users to understand issues and implement solutions
- Assist department management in maximizing performance through effective use of applications
- Conduct testing, system documentation, and training related to assigned applications
- Serve as a liaison between Information Services, customer departments, and vendors
What is Required (Qualifications):
- EPIC Certification in Area of Responsibility is required
- Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 3 years of related position experience with 2 years of direct position experience required with a Bachelor's Degree, or 5 years of related position experience with 4 years of direct position experience required with an Associate's Degree, or 7 years of related position experience with 6 years of direct position experience required with a High School Diploma
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with various stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare, Technology, or a related field
- Additional certifications or licenses in the field of practice
- Experience in healthcare application support
- Familiarity with clinical workflows and processes
