- Assist in the management, planning, design, and development of Denver Zoo’s CRM application (Tessitura)
- Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business, financial and CRM requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues.
- Lead design sessions in prototyping new systems for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow.
- Ensure compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systems.
- Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
- Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications.
- Conduct research on software and hardware products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts
- Perform system administration functions within the Tessitura CRM application.
- Work with IT, Tessitura Network and other 3rd party vendors to maintain application performance and reliability.
- Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in application across the organization.
- Communicate application problems and issues to key stakeholders, including management, vendors and end users.
- Test fixes and perform post-resolution follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved.
- Work with internal stakeholders to define data import/export procedures and reporting requirements.
- Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems.
- Work with system owners to define data extraction and integration requirements for core enterprise applications.
- Identify and learn appropriate software applications used and supported by the organization.
- Coordinate with department heads to assess departmental application training needs and objectives.
- Perform preventative maintenance, including the installation of service packs, patches, hot fixes.
- Other assistance, as designated by the Senior Director of IT, to support the overall goals of the department and organization. Denver Zoo retains the right to add or change duties and/or responsibilities at any time.
- Acts as a good steward of Denver Zoo’s resources.
- The nature of this position requires safeguarding against the release of confidential and proprietary information of Denver Zoo.
- This position will interact with managers at all levels and staff members across the organization, in addition to members of external organizations and the public.
- Completion or in pursuit of a or high school degree or equivalent required, or any equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- In-depth, hands-on knowledge of and experience with enterprise CRM and Point of Sale Applications, proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products. Proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques or any equivalent combination of experience, lived experience, and/or special skills.
- Able to develop and interpret technical documentation for training and end user procedures.
- Knowledge of trends in technology relating to software applications.
- Highly self-motivated and directed.
- Ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to conduct research into software development and delivery concepts, as well as technical application issues.
- Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
- Requires organizational skills, written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize work and tasks. Requires adaptability to produce and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, multi-task and changing environment, and the ability to work as part of a team.

The Systems Analyst/CRM Administrator delivers, supports and provides end-user training for Denver Zoo’s enterprise applications, to ensure these applications are used efficiently and effectively to fulfill business objectives. This position is responsible for the daily management of Denver Zoo’s CRM solution (Tessitura) including the overall configuration and functionality of the platform and will use technical knowledge to provide strategic solutions to support the application. This includes troubleshooting, researching, testing, installing upgrades and working with business stakeholders and software vendors to define functional requirements for future enhancements or customizations. The position is also responsible for defining standard operating procedures and creating supporting documentation to safeguard the integrity and reliability of our core enterprise applications.

Compensation
Range for this position is $6,531 - $8,164 (monthly).
