      Summary/Objective:

      Work Schedule: 3-4 days in office and 1-2 days remote

      The System and Process Representative (SPR) will be a primary point of contact for the Quality Carriers (QC) Operations team and will work closely with various departments to obtain an understanding of their respective requirements and processes to identify areas for improvement and assist in making a plan to implement the new processes.

      As part of daily responsibilities the SPR will be responding to data-related queries, setting up processes to make data more efficient, analyzing and interpreting trends from the data, and reporting trends to add business value.

      Furthermore, the SPR will also work closely with the operating groups and field personnel providing support on the items noted above as well as in a variety of other areas. This will include leveraging compliance reports, operational service data and other information to help improve operations.

      A successful SPR must have the ability to function as a part of a team at a high level and be able to think creatively and critically. Time management and productivity is important as the SPR will serve as a primary, ongoing resource for terminal operations. An SPR must also be able to meet established deadlines. An SPR must be able to identify and complete daily tasks without supervision.

      Essential Functions:

      • QC Process Requests: Using automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources. Clean and prepare data for analysis. This includes removing errors, identifying outliers, and transforming data into a format that can be analyzed. Performing analysis to assess the quality and meaning of data. Using statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction. Assigning numerical value to essential business functions so that business performance can be assessed and compared over periods of time. Preparing final analysis reports. Ensuring accuracy in data analysis and recognizing anomalies or errors in data.
      • ThoughtSpot: Learn to be able to create dashboards and automatic reports to fit the business needs. Help in creating more time for other projects by automating identified reports. Become a subject matter expert.
      • Data Clean Up: Help in fixing incorrect, incomplete, duplicate or otherwise erroneous data in TMW Suite System. It will involve identifying data errors and then changing, updating or removing data to correct them.
      • Miscellaneous Items: Support the QC Customer Service/Operations department with operational data and solutions for customer operations, responses, action plans, as well as maintaining operational systems data components. Focus on, but not limited to, continuous improvement in load actualization accuracy and timing as well as data mods.

      Decision Making:

      An SPR must be able to apply critical thinking to determine the validity of data. Also, the SPR must be able to determine when a challenging issue needs to be escalated to higher levels of the organization for resolution

      Education

      • 4 year degree preferred
      • 2-4 years of relevant experience. Logistics experience is a plus.

      Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities (Competencies)

      • Strong skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) and Google Apps.
      • Ability to meet deadlines, address/communicate issues
      • Ability to function as part of a team at a high level
      • Critical thinker
      • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
      • Familiarity with transportation software such as EDI, Trimble Products required
      • To identify and complete daily task without supervision

      Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, 5 days per week. Either 9am-6pm or 8am-5pm.

      Travel: None

      Work Environment: This is a hybrid role that will operate 2-3 days per week in a professional office environment and 2-3 days from a remote (home) location. Work week will total 5 days/week. This role routinely uses standard office and computer equipment.
