- Oversee the lifecycle of Hardware, Software, Network Infrastructure and Network Services
- Perform Updates, Backups and Patches to Servers and related network infrastructure.
- Work with Cisco Appliances (Routers, Switches, Access Points)
- Manage Cisco WebEx calling
- Manage and maintain SonicWall firewall
- Manage internal IT projects
- Handle escalation from Level I/II Technicians
- Provision and manage Servers (Server 2022) in Azure, backup solutions, and other cloud resources.
- Work hands on with Microsoft Office 365 and Active Directory (managing group policies, creating domain accounts, etc.)
- 3-5 years minimum experience management and administration of “Enterprise IT”
- Ability to develop effective work relationship across all organizational levels
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience with SQL and Database Management
- Azure / Office 365 certifications or equivalent experience
- Virtualization and Storage certifications or equivalent experience
- Advanced Route/Switch certifications, or equivalent experience
- Wireless certifications, or equivalent experience
- Experience administering firewalls/content filters
Custom Computer Specialists is looking for a Systems Engineer to join our team onsite at one of our clients in a K-12 environment. This person will oversee the entire infrastructure within this district, which would include patching servers, rolling out Cisco appliances and leading department projects.
This position is paying between $95,000-$105,000 annually. Pay will be based on experience.
O VERVIEW
This person is responsible for providing technical management over the IT Infrastructure of a large school district located in Suffolk County. This person will provide thought leadership and expertise to guide and manage the District’s Network, Server, Exchange, SAN, VMWare and Enterprise Operating Systems.
