- Plan and execute infrastructure implementations and maintenance, including hardware, software, security configuration, patching, firmware releases, and upgrades
- Configure and maintain infrastructure systems monitoring
- Document and maintain infrastructure configuration documentation and standards
- Monitor and respond to infrastructure incidents and events
- Build, deploy, and maintain on-prem server hardware using HP Proliant technology
- Build, deploy, and maintain on-prem storage SAN hardware using HP Nimble and 3PAR technology
- Configure and manage AWS cloud-based infrastructure including VPC’s, Security groups, EC2 instances, RDS services, IPSec tunnels, etc...
- Build and maintain backup system using Rubrik technology
- Build and maintain core services for authentication using Microsoft Active Directory
- Manage internal and external DNS services using Microsoft DNS, AWS route 53, and DNS Made Easy
- Manage SSO and app integrations using Okta
- Work with IT Security team for security related configurations and reporting
- Provide support to the various IT teams and the company in general including off hours support and participate in an on-call rotation.
- Deploy security patches to servers
- Configure and manage on-prem virtual infrastructure using VMWare technology
- Configure and manage CDN service using Verizon Edgecast technology
- Manage Office365 / Exchange Online service
- Provide reports and evidence for monthly and quarterly PCI / SOX audits
- Must have at least 5 years’ experience with configuring and maintaining HP server and SAN hardware, VMWare, Microsoft Active Directory, and Windows Server OS
- Linux experience a plus
- Must have at least 2 years’ experience with AWS and Okta
- Must demonstrate good troubleshooting / problem solving skills involving complex systems spanning multiple different technologies typically found in any large organization
- Must have good organizational skills and be able to create and maintain documentation
- Must have a good understanding of the fundamental concepts and technology of networking (TCP/IP, OSI reference model, DNS, DHCP, etc...)
- Splunk Enterprise experience a plus
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering

Overview Of Position
The Systems Engineer II ensures the stable operation of the in-house computer network and telephony systems. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network hardware, software, and communication links. The Systems Engineer II works with vendors, clients, carriers and technical staff on network implementation, optimization and ongoing management.
