      Basic Qualifications

      • DoD SECRET clearance with ability to upgrade to TOP SECRET
      • Demonstrated experience with configuring and maintaining Windows OS environments (Physical and virtual)
      • Experience with Active Directory administration, including health checks and troubleshooting
      • Experience with Group Policy Object configuration and administration
      • Experience with Windows Updates and patching (WSUS). Offline WSUS experience a plus.
      • General understanding of IT systems
      • Basic network configuration and troubleshooting
      • Demonstrated ability to work seamlessly across organization boundaries
      • Self-starter with the ability to spot potential for process improvement
      • Capable of building effective relationships with teams and subject matter experts
      • CompTIA Sec+ (or equivalent)

      This position is within Lockheed Martin Enterprise Business and Digital Transformation (EBDT) Classified IT Transformation organization.       The candidate will be a System Engineer for an enterprise WAN solution: DarkStar! The candidate will be responsible for supporting the Windows environments within DarkStar at one of our node locations and will be the primary interface for DarkStar. The selected candidate will closely work with the larger DarkStar system engineering and network teams to maintain, sustain and keep secure all Windows environments throughout the system. Candidate must be comfortable working in environment supporting a large number of different platforms which range from enterprise servers to small and midsize servers. Candidate will be responsible for system installations, upgrades, configurations, software installation, patching and maintenance. Knowledge of various protocols such as DNS, SMTP, NFS, FTP, Telnet, ssh, and etc protocols and system network tuning and configuration.

      *** This position works a 9x80 schedule, with every other Friday off! All work will be performed onsite at our Littleton, CO facility! ***

      Desired skills

      • Experience with McAfee and EPO/ENS
      • Experience with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit and/or Windows OS image building processes
      • Experience with script writing, PowerShell, Ansible, Python or other automation/scripting too
      • Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux

      Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.       National Pay Statement

      Pay Rate:
      The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $64,400 - $123,400 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

      Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
      (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

      This position is incentive plan eligible.

      Premium Pay Statement

      Pay Rate:
      The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $74,000 - $139,400. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
