  Job Description

  This position is with our Advanced Development Program (ADP), known as the historic Skunk Works, in Marietta, GA. The candidate will join an ADP effort as a Systems Engineer providing support across the entire product line including new and existing programs. The candidate will be part of a fast paced, dynamic environment exploring state of the art technical solutions that will include Control Account Management duties and responsibilities.
  
  What You Will Be Doing:
  
  • The selected candidate will provide systems engineering support, to include but not limited to requirements tracking, risk management, architecture evaluation, and Airworthiness for an ADP program.
  
  • A qualified candidate will shatter silos by working across multiple disciplines, suppliers, and users to ensure all aspects of the project are covered with appropriate requirements, including conducting technical trade studies to determine requirements.
  
  • Understanding of industry-standard requirement formulation, decomposition, flow-down, traceability, and metrics is important, as is the ability to work with functional experts and generate verification and validation plans for requirements.
  
  • The selected candidate will work with senior engineers to understand the overall program and engineering execution.
  
  • As part of your Control Account Manager duties, you will be responsible for managing the scope, schedule, and budget for your Control Accounts, serving as the primary liaison between Subcontract Managers, Finance, and Program Management.
  
  • You will be the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) point of contact for your organization, providing direction and oversight for the accounts you manage.

  National Pay Statement

  Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
