- On-Prem Compute & Networking: Design, deploy, and optimize VMware virtualization, storage, firewalls, switches, and routers (other virtualization technologies helpful but not required).
- Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure: Design, deploy, and optimize compute and networking solutions in Azure (other cloud technologies helpful but not required).
- Cloud Networking: Design, deploy, and optimize VPCs, subnets, VPNs, peering, application groups, resource groups, security groups, load balancers, and firewalls.
- Automation: Design, deploy, and optimize solutions (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or similar) to automate deployments and configurations.
- Security & Compliance: Design, deploy, and optimize zero-trust networking, identity management (IAM), and compliance best practices.
- Troubleshooting & Monitoring: Design, deploy, and optimize observability/notification tools (e.g., PRTG, Cacti, SolarWinds) and respond to network/system incidents.
- 5-8+ years of experience in system engineering, cloud infrastructure, and networking.
- Strong expertise in Azure (certifications preferred).
- Deep knowledge of cloud networking (SD-WAN, Transit Gateway, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Linux & Windows administration in hybrid environments.
- Proficiency in automation and scripting (Terraform, Ansible, Python, or PowerShell).
- Experience with firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and security best practices.
- Azure, VMware and Networking certifications are preferred

We are currently seeking a Systems Engineer for all PRS affiliate and managed communities.
About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our various networking and compute systems. This role requires strong expertise in on-prem systems administration and hybrid cloud compute / cloud networking to ensure high availability, security, and performance across our IT environments.
Pay: DOE
Location: Working out of the PRS Home Office in Medford, OR is required.
Ideal candidates will currently reside in Medford, OR
